Design Pack #1 adds extended visual customisation for invoices and quotes. It includes nine templates and ten fonts you can apply to any document. Approved invoices keep their chosen design permanently, even if the pack expires.
The Euro Currency addon equips Envoyce with full dual‑currency capability, letting you invoice confidently in EUR across all 20 Eurozone countries. With dynamic local tax lookup, automatic VAT compliance, and built‑in B2B reverse‑charge controls, it handles the complexity of cross‑border billing for you.
Envoyce addons give you a clean, modular way to extend your invoicing setup. Simply add the capabilities you want and ignore everything else.
Each addon is a focused upgrade that slots neatly into your workflow, keeping Envoyce lightweight, flexible, and shaped entirely by your choices.
Envoyce is an invoicing product that is streamlined, efficient, and suited to a focused workflow. You're in good hands.
You’re an IT contractor and you typically work for just one client, either via an agency or through your own limited company business. Your invoicing requirements are generally more straightforward than those managing multiple accounts. However, simplicity should not come at the expense of professionalism, accuracy, or legal compliance. Even with just one client, it’s essential to have an invoicing system that reduces wasted time, overhead and keeps your financial records in good order. Your customer be it the actual client or agent, will expect invoices from you to meet certain standards
As an IT contractor you should select an invoicing product that is streamlined, efficient, and suited to a focused workflow. The nature of your “term contract” does somewhat reduce risk from default, but not entirely.
Envoyce is an invoicing platform that was designed by an IT Contractor for IT Contractors. Its intentionally focused on a simple and efficient workflow, rather than a hundred & one unused bells and whistles.
Specifically, Envoyce is designed to be:
For contractors who invoice on a regular basis either monthly, fortnightly or by project, a system that enables repeat invoicing is invaluable. Envoyce allows you to create “Day Rate” products, assign your day rate with the appropriate costs and rate of tax which you can use on your invoice.
Invoices can be copied effortlessly, as due dates & invoice numbers are dynamically assigned. This reduces admin time and ensures consistency across your billing periods.
Even with one client, it’s important to present a polished and professional image. Envoyce invoices are tailored with your business name, logo, contact details, and invoice number. You can even include invoice notes for service descriptions, project names or customer PM contacts, reducing any chance of dispute.
As an IT Contactor you must ensure your invoices comply with HMRC regulations. Envoyce supports multiple tax rates, displays your company number & VAT registration number and includes the correct tax breakdown on every invoice.
Each invoice can be downloaded as a PDF for bookkeep reconciliation in your cash book. Alternatively, you can grant you accountant read-only access to your invoices, to aid your year end activities.
Even when working with one client, payment delays can occur. Envoyce provides clear visibility into which invoices have been paid, the invoice that are due, and ones that are overdue.
The Envoyce dashboard has an arrears grid displaying overdue invoices by severity.
For an IT contractor with a single client, the best invoicing product is one that combines simplicity with professionalism. It should offer simple invoice duplication, tax compliance features, payment tracking and overdue visibility. Even in a one-to-one working relationship, having a robust invoicing process in place helps maintain clarity, reduces disputes, and projects a professional image.
Envoyce has been written to meet all these requirements.

Envoyce can create tax compliant PDF invoices that you can send direct to your customers via instant messenger or email. You can even print them out and post them the old fashioned way.
No app can realistically claim to get you paid faster, but generally the sooner you can invoice, the sooner you'll be paid..

Envoyce is super fast & makes it simple to manage the whole invoicing process. Avoid the end of year hassle and grant you accountant read only access to account.
If an invoice app website has a pricing page then the app is not free. It's all about getting you to buy the "pro" paid subscription.

The core of Envoyce is completely free to use. It supports invoicing, customers, products as well as quotations. You can use it to send your customer invoices via email, Whatsapp or print them and send the old fashioned way.
Envoyce is not open source, but there is no subscription charge and the only potential limit to use is a "fair use" policy, which is a very common continuity measure that is designed to keep the service running for everyone.
To help keep the "lights on" we will be creating "add-on" packages that enhance & extend the Envoyce platform. We have "Time & Expenses", "HMRC VAT submissions" and "Cashbook" currently in production, with more to follow.
The simple answer is "it's unlikely". Other vendors use that particular claim a lot, but you have to remember that when you send your invoice, it's really down to your relationship with your customer that denotes a prompt settlement. Payment links are an aid to that process, but no tech will compel your customer to settle on your timeline if they choose not to.
Envoyce doesn't curently support payment links, however payment links do have a place in certain circumstances and will be an option in future Envoyce releases to customers that require it.
Payment links also come with an extra cost element to your business, as the payment provider adds their fee to each transaction. We will always encourage your customer to pay you via their own online banking app. This has the benefit of being quicker and costs you nothing.
No, not yet. Envoyce is currently only an invoice and quotations management platform. Although our development roadmap has "Cashbook" as a high prority, we don't have a production release as yet.
Many customers use Envoyce alongside a desktop accounts package that creates the reports that they send to their accountant. Should you require more integration, there are many commercial full accounts subscriptions available.
Envoyce was created during lockdown in 2020, and was subject to a significant re-write in 2023. All Envoyce data is fully encrypted to and from your browser.
We comply with all legislation to safeguard your data. We balance performance and useability with appropriate security policy & implementation. It's a pragmatic balance that allows you to acces your quotes and invoices from any browser, on PC Mac and Smartphone.
We ensure that our systems are kept updated & security hardened, whilst being fast and fit for purpose.
Absolutely, you can upload your own logo in the [Settings] section of the app. Your invoices from that moment on will have your branding on your PDFs. However, your Envoyce emails will not be branded.
For best results use a image with few colours. Customers printing out invoices may want to do so in a responsible manor, using the minimum amount of ink as possible.
The core version of Envoyce doesn`t currently support template selection or a custom typeface (font), however we are planning an add-on in future for customers that require that functionality.
If your business is registered for VAT with HMRC you are required to print the VAT number on your business invoices. During the Envoyce signup you will be asked if your business is VAT registered and prompted for the registration number. This number will be written to all your invoices and VAT will be enabled on your profile.
When you create products in Envoyce the default VAT percentage will be shown.
A VAT amount (even if zero) will be shown on your invoice.
We've written Envoyce to be as intuitive as possible. However, sometimes you just need a little bit of hand-holding to show you how it works.
To that end, we have created YouTube videos that talk you through the process of using Envoyce, creating invoices and quotations, handling arrears, sending email reminders and assigning categories, to name but a few.
Our help videos are the first port of call to learn how to use Envoyce. New videos are being posted regulary.
Contact us on Facebook if you have a video request or need specific help.
We don't current have an export function in Envoyce. However you do have full control over your data. You can download all your invoices & quotations to PDF files and manually delete all data that you create.
When you remove invoices, customers etc in Envoyce, it actually moves the item into the recycle bin. This is a safety feature to avoid mistakes against inadvertant deletion.
If you delete items from the recycle bin, the item is actually removed from our servers and cannot be recovered. You have been warned.
If you want to stop using Envoyce, you need do nothing. You account will automatically become stale at 90 days of non use. We'll email you that your account will be archived and them removed from our servers unless activity is detected.
Yes you can.
You can create multiple accounts that access your data. You can select the type of access you assign. Currently Envoyce supports:
Viewer: Read only access
Writer: Can create invoices but not remove them
Editor: Can create, edit and remove invoices
