Unlike most of our competitors Envoyce is totally free and unlimited (subject to a fair use policy). We don’t have a “pro version” or “free plan”. At Envoyce, free means free. You can forget about costly subscriptions.
Create your products once and instantly create “inline variants” whilst building your invoice. Not quite ready to send, save as a draft, want to dispatch via WhatsApp instead of email, no problem. Create quotations and convert to invoices, copy, edit and remove in one interface.
Month-on-month income trend anaylsis, overdue invoice management, visability of recent receipts, emails & site activity.

The core of Envoyce is completely free to use. It supports invoicing, customers, products as well as quotations. You can use it to send your customer invoices via email, Whatsapp or print them and send the old fashioned way.
Envoyce is not open source, but there is no subscription charge and the only potential limit to use is a "fair use" policy, which is a very common continuity measure that is designed to keep the service running for everyone.
To help keep the "lights on" we will be creating "add-on" packages that enhance & extend the Envoyce platform. We have "Time & Expenses", "HMRC VAT submissions" and "Cashbook" currently in production, with more to follow.
The simple answer is "it's unlikely". Other vendors use that particular claim a lot, but you have to remember that when you send your invoice, it's really down to your relationship with your customer that denotes a prompt settlement. Payment links are an aid to that process, but no tech will compel your customer to settle on your timeline if they choose not to.
Envoyce doesn't curently support payment links, however payment links do have a place in certain circumstances and will be an option in future Envoyce releases to customers that require it.
Payment links also come with an extra cost element to your business, as the payment provider adds their fee to each transaction. We will always encourage your customer to pay you via their own online banking app. This has the benefit of being quicker and costs you nothing.
No, not yet. Envoyce is currently only an invoice and quotations management platform. Although our development roadmap has "Cashbook" as a high prority, we don't have a production release as yet.
Many customers use Envoyce alongside a desktop accounts package that creates the reports that they send to their accountant. Should you require more integration, there are many commercial full accounts subscriptions available.
Envoyce was created during lockdown in 2020, and was subject to a significant re-write in 2023. All Envoyce data is fully encrypted to and from your browser.
We comply with all legislation to safeguard your data. We balance performance and useability with appropriate security policy & implementation. It's a pragmatic balance that allows you to acces your quotes and invoices from any browser, on PC Mac and Smartphone.
We ensure that our systems are kept updated & security hardened, whilst being fast and fit for purpose.
Absolutely, you can upload your own logo in the [Settings] section of the app. Your invoices from that moment on will have your branding on your PDFs. However, your Envoyce emails will not be branded.
For best results use a image with few colours. Customers printing out invoices may want to do so in a responsible manor, using the minimum amount of ink as possible.
The core version of Envoyce doesn`t currently support template selection or a custom typeface (font), however we are planning an add-on in future for customers that require that functionality.
If your business is registered for VAT with HMRC you are required to print the VAT number on your business invoices. During the Envoyce signup you will be asked if your business is VAT registered and prompted for the registration number. This number will be written to all your invoices and VAT will be enabled on your profile.
When you create products in Envoyce the default VAT percentage will be shown.
A VAT amount (even if zero) will be shown on your invoice.
We've written Envoyce to be as intuitive as possible. However, sometimes you just need a little bit of hand-holding to show you how it works.
To that end, we have created YouTube videos that talk you through the process of using Envoyce, creating invoices and quotations, handling arrears, sending email reminders and assigning categories, to name but a few.
Our help videos are the first port of call to learn how to use Envoyce. New videos are being posted regulary.
Contact us on Facebook if you have a video request or need specific help.
We don't current have an export function in Envoyce. However you do have full control over your data. You can download all your invoices & quotations to PDF files and manually delete all data that you create.
When you remove invoices, customers etc in Envoyce, it actually moves the item into the recycle bin. This is a safety feature to avoid mistakes against inadvertant deletion.
If you delete items from the recycle bin, the item is actually removed from our servers and cannot be recovered. You have been warned.
If you want to stop using Envoyce, you need do nothing. You account will automatically become stale at 90 days of non use. We'll email you that your account will be archived and them removed from our servers unless activity is detected.
Yes you can.
