The Euro Currency Addon enables support for creating and managing invoices, quotations, products, and customers in EUR (€) within Envoyce. This addon adds currency‑formatting and Eurozone VAT handling only and does not alter core invoicing functionality.
The Euro Currency Addon includes a 14‑day free trial. During the trial period, all Euro Currency features operate fully without charge.
At the end of the 14‑day trial:
The addon must be purchased to continue using EUR functionality.
If not purchased, EUR functionality is disabled, but no data is deleted.
Active EUR invoices and quotations retain their currency information for the life of the app.
Upon successful payment, the Euro Currency Addon is activated immediately on your Envoyce account. A tax invoice is provided at purchase and remains available in Settings → Orders.
The addon is sold in fixed terms (typically 6 or 12 months). You may purchase or renew the addon at any time.
If purchased while active, the new term is added to the existing expiry date.
If purchased after expiry, the new term begins from the current date.
No automatic renewal.
No stored payment card details.
You will receive expiring and expired email notifications as reminders.
When working in EUR:
Only EUR products are shown and selectable.
GBP products are not displayed, not selectable, and not converted.
Envoyce does not perform currency conversion or exchange‑rate calculations.
Users are fully responsible for ensuring correct EUR pricing.
When the addon is active:
You may create new products in EUR.
You may edit existing products and change their currency to EUR.
You may copy a GBP product to create a EUR equivalent.
Copying a GBP product creates a separate EUR product, requiring:
a new product name
a new SKU
a new description
a new price
a new VAT rate
No conversion or automatic calculation exists. GBP and EUR products are independent and do not sync.
Envoyce accepts no liability for incorrect pricing arising from manual currency entry or user‑defined EUR product values.
When the addon is active:
You may assign a default currency to each customer.
You may assign a country/territory to each customer.
If the customer is located in a Eurozone country, and EUR is selected:
A VAT Number field becomes available.
This enables B2B zero‑VAT (reverse charge) handling.
Customer default currency overrides the business default currency.
Users are responsible for ensuring customer currency, country, and VAT number settings are correct. Envoyce accepts no liability for errors arising from incorrect customer configuration.
When the addon is active:
You may set your business country/territory.
You may set your business default currency (GBP or EUR).
Customer default currency takes priority when creating invoices or quotations.
When selecting a Eurozone customer with a valid VAT number:
A dialog appears asking whether to apply B2B zero‑VAT (reverse charge).
You may choose manually or set a preference to always apply zero‑rate.
Zero‑rate is applied only when all conditions are met:
The Euro Currency Addon is active
The invoice/quote currency is EUR
The customer’s country/territory uses the Euro
The customer has a VAT number recorded
If any condition is not met, VAT is charged at the defined rate.
Zero‑rate applies only to Products. Zero‑rate does not apply to Services or Shipping.
It is the user’s sole responsibility to verify, validate, and confirm that the customer’s VAT number is correct and legitimate. Envoyce accepts no liability whatsoever for fraudulent, incorrect, or misrepresented VAT numbers, nor for any tax, compliance, or regulatory consequences arising from their use.
Where any part of an invoice or quotation is subject to B2B zero‑rating, Envoyce will automatically print a message on the invoice or quotation indicating that the reverse‑charge mechanism applies. This message is informational only. Users must ensure the message is appropriate for the transaction.
Envoyce does not provide tax, accounting, or regulatory advice. Users must ensure their VAT treatment complies with applicable laws.
Envoyce does not guarantee compliance with country‑specific VAT rules within the Eurozone. Users must ensure correct VAT handling for each jurisdiction.
When creating invoices or quotations:
Selecting a customer automatically selects their default currency.
Product lists are filtered by currency.
VAT behaviour follows the rules described above.
When the addon expires:
All active EUR invoices and quotations retain their currency information for the life of the app.
All draft or new invoices and quotations revert to GBP or your system default currency.
No data or documents are deleted due to expiry.
The Envoyce free platform continues to operate normally.
Envoyce is not responsible for missing or incorrectly assigned products due to user‑defined currency settings.
The Euro Currency Addon is licensed for use by the purchasing Envoyce account and any additional users created under that account. The licence is non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, and limited to use within Envoyce. No ownership or intellectual property rights are transferred.
You agree that:
Euro currency formatting and VAT logic are designed exclusively for Envoyce.
Currency formatting cannot be exported, extracted, or used outside Envoyce.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or attempt to access underlying currency‑formatting logic.
Addon features remain bound to your Envoyce account and cannot be transferred.
Envoyce accepts no liability for fraudulent use of EUR invoices, VAT numbers, or reverse‑charge mechanisms.
You must ensure that all EUR‑based invoice information, tax values, totals, and product pricing are correct before dispatching any invoice or quotation. Envoyce does not verify the accuracy of your business data or currency values.
All addon purchases are final. The Euro Currency Addon is delivered and activated immediately; no refunds are offered.
Purchase of this addon grants access to Envoyce’s Support Ticketing system. Support tickets may be submitted directly through the Envoyce app. Envoyce will make reasonable efforts to respond, but response times may vary. Support is handled directly by Envoyce’s internal team.
Envoyce may update or improve the Euro Currency Addon at its discretion. Updates are provided to existing purchasers at no additional cost.
Misuse of the addon, including attempts to extract or reverse‑engineer currency‑formatting logic, may result in addon suspension. No refund or extension is provided for enforcement actions.
Envoyce may discontinue the Euro Currency Addon after providing a notice period. If discontinued, existing purchasers retain access until their current term ends. No refunds are provided for discontinuation.
If your Envoyce account is suspended, addon access is suspended. If your account is reactivated and the addon term is still active, addon access resumes.
To ensure compliance and protect both Envoyce and the user, the following additional legal responsibilities and limitations apply to all use of the Euro Currency Addon:
Users are solely responsible for ensuring correct VAT treatment, including determining whether goods qualify for reverse‑charge, whether the customer is VAT‑registered, exempt, or partially exempt, and whether the customer’s country/territory assignment is accurate. Envoyce does not validate VAT numbers, does not check VAT registration status, and does not determine eligibility for reverse‑charge mechanisms.
Envoyce does not provide tax, accounting, or regulatory advice. Users must ensure that all VAT rates, VAT classifications, and reverse‑charge applications comply with applicable laws in their jurisdiction and the customer’s jurisdiction. Envoyce accepts no liability for incorrect VAT rates, misapplied VAT rules, or non‑compliant tax treatment.
Envoyce does not guarantee compliance with country‑specific invoice requirements within the EU or Eurozone. Mandatory fields, wording, or formatting required by individual tax authorities may vary, and users are responsible for ensuring their invoices meet local regulatory standards.
The automatic reverse‑charge message printed on invoices and quotations is generic and informational only. Users must ensure the message is appropriate, complete, and compliant with the requirements of the relevant tax authority.
Envoyce accepts no liability for incorrect pricing, misconfigured EUR product values, or errors arising from manual currency entry. Envoyce does not perform currency conversion or exchange‑rate calculations, and users are responsible for selecting the correct currency when creating invoices or quotations.
Envoyce accepts no liability for missing or incorrectly assigned products caused by user‑defined currency settings, nor for errors arising from incorrect customer configuration, including currency, country, or VAT number assignment.
Envoyce accepts no liability for fraudulent EUR invoices, fraudulent VAT numbers, or misuse of reverse‑charge mechanisms. Users are responsible for verifying the legitimacy of all customer information and for ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws.
Envoyce does not guarantee compliance with future changes to EU VAT legislation or Eurozone tax rules. Users are responsible for monitoring regulatory changes and adjusting their VAT treatment accordingly.
